the warm and humid morning waited like a vampire

the shuttle bus picked us up and began the scenic rolling cruise from van buren to connor

the people seemed happy

asked for a toasted bagel with margarine at tim horton's in presque isle and got a toasted bagel with butter

as an after thought the bagel lady said "sorry"

and i replied under my breath ' not as sorry as you're gonna be '

i see and hear people and animals that become very loud and threatening like angry demons when i purchase and consume animal products

it was a hot muggy st pete day back in april when i was attacked by a person in a car who was turning left from dr mlk 9 th street on the right side of the photo onto 126th ave


he yelled at me for crossing the crosswalk while walking alongside my bicycle instead of riding it then turned his car around, got out, leaving the car blocking traffic on the eastbound lane of 126th ave and walked about 50 ft up the sidewalk where i waited so he couldn't hit me with his car like the others did


he really was angry that i had crossed the crosswalk while walking the bike even though i must have crossed the lane he was turning into in under a second and a half


sounds crazy right ?


but that's really what happened ... he blocked two other cars waiting to enter dr mlk 9th street for about 5 minutes while he attacked me on the sidewalk
